毛泽东
北国风光，千里冰封，
万里雪飘。
望长城内外，惟余莽莽;
大河上下，顿失滔滔。
山舞银蛇，原驰蜡象，
欲与天公试比高。
须晴日，
看红装素裹，分外妖娆。
江山如此多娇，
引无数英雄竞折腰。
惜秦皇汉武，略输文采；
唐宗宋祖，稍逊风骚。
一代天骄，成吉思汗，
只识弯弓射大雕。
俱往矣，
数风流人物，还看今朝。
毛泽东（1893-1976），字润之，笔名子任。中国人民领袖，无产阶级革命家、战略家及理论家，中国共产党、中国人民解放军和中华人民共和国的主要缔造者和
领导人，诗人，书法家。

The northern land's great view,
What endless sealing ice!
What boundless flying snow!
All that the Great Wall can see
Is an expanse of white.
The River, high and low,
Suddenly stops its flow.
Mountains wave silver snakes;
Plateaus drive wax elephants.
To dwarf Lord of Heaven, here they go.
When it clears up,
All red clad in white hue,
What a brilliant show!
Hills and rills, blushing to blow,
Attract countless heroes to bow low.
Pity, Ch'in's or Han's Lords
Had no charm, no much glow,
And, Tang's or Song's Crown
Had no flair, just so so.
The proudest of all time,
Ghenghis Khan,
To shoot hawks but knew how to draw a bow.
All gone away,
Where to find glaring talents?
Lo and behold today.
