“缘分”英文怎么说？
英语里没有准确对应缘分的单词
提到缘分，会使用fate或者destiny [ˈdestəni]
这两者都可以表达“命运”的意思
即一切都是命中注定的
它们可用来形容爱情，友情等范畴的缘分
例：
It's the fate／destiny that brought us together.
是缘分让我们走到了一起。
James left Sara four years ago, but destiny brought them back together.
四年前James和Sara分手了，但缘分让他们重新走到了一起。
如果是情侣，当有人问：
How did you get together?
你们是怎么在一起的？
想要表达是缘分让我们自然而然的走到一起
可以这样说：
in the right place at the right time
在对的地点和对的时间
总在恰当的时间，恰好的地点然后遇上对的人
这也许就是缘分的使然
例：
A: How did you guys fall in love？
你俩是什么好上的？
B: I guess we were just in the right place at the right time.
我觉得我们是在对的时间对的地点，遇到了对的人。

在俚语中的喻义是永结同心，表示结婚
