好歌赏析 ---- 听歌过程中练习听、讲英文口语能力。
口语学习必须要有一个能听和讲的环境，才能易于进步；在国内要有这样的语言环境，不是每个人都可以能够做到。所以小双老师建议大家透过听、唱英文歌曲，去提升听力和发音。而且大部分英文歌曲的歌词（特别是一些怀旧歌曲），有故事的内容，用词简而美，文法又正确。是很值得用来作为英语学习参考。有兴趣提升英语水平的朋友们，请继续关注本栏目!
这首“The Sound of Silence 沉默之声” 是美国民歌组合 --- Simon & Garfunkel 1964年的作品；Simon 在1963至1964年间，花了好几个月的时间写出来的 ；当时 Simon 才21岁。

Simon写这首歌的歌词时，他有感那个年代，人与人之间存在隔阂，不懂得怎样沟通，不单是在语言上，尤其是在感情上；所以在灯红酒绿的地方，更容易看到周遭的人在相处时，一般都比较表面化的，比较冷漠的，彼此互不关心的。所以这首歌是在唤醒大家，人与人之间应该要互相关爱，互相帮助。

学习点 Learning Points：
- Left--- 这个字有好几个解释，作为动词 (v.)，它是 Leave 离开、剩下、遗留，的过去式及过去分词。作为形容词，它就是我们所熟悉的：左的、左边的意思。这里是以动词解。
- Ain’t--- 是英语中的口语，有“难道”的意思。
- But my words like silent rain-drops fell.--- 这句话，有点人微言轻、很无奈的感觉。
