hello girl 是女电话接线员，这是一个和hello分不开的词。
hello，Its rise to popularity as a greeting (1880s) coincides with the spread of the telephone, where it won out as the word said in answering, over Alexander Graham Bell's suggestion, ahoy. Central telephone exchange operators were known as hello-girls (1889).
Hello一词早就有，但在19世纪末电话发明后才流行起来的。
