1. all the time 意为"始终，总是"，相当于频度副词 always，但always用于系动词、助动词、情态动词之后，行为动词之前，all the time 放在动词之后。
He gets up early to do sports all the time.
= He always gets up early to do sports.
他总是早起锻炼。
2. from time to time = at times =sometimes 意为"有时"
At times /Sometimes / From time to time my father likes to take a walk after dinner.
有时我父亲晚饭后喜欢去散散步。
3. on time 意为"按时、准时"，表示"按计划或预期在特定的时间内完成某事"。
You must finish your homework on time.
你必须按时完成你的作业。
He can get there on time.

(4) in time 意为"及时"，表示"正赶上某个时候或恰好在需要的时候，没有迟到"，也可理解为"在最后的截止时间前或在最后一刻完成某事"。
