Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare went out in the autumn wind.
伴着习习的秋风，小兔子和大兔子出去散步了。
On a windy day, the leaves are blowing.
这是一个大风的日子，秋叶漫天飞舞。
They chased after falling leaves util Big Nutbrown Haree could chase no more.
他们不停地追逐着飘落的秋叶，直到大兔子精疲力尽，再也跑不动了。
"I have to have a rest!" he said.
“我得休息一下！” 他说道。
Then a big brown box came rolling by, blown by the autumn wind.
然后一阵秋风吹来了一个大的棕色盒子。
Little Nutbrown Hare caught up with the box when it got stuck in a bush.
正当它被堵在一片矮树丛里的时候，小兔子追上了这个盒子。
What a fine big box.
真是一个漂亮的大盒子呀。
It was great for jumping over.
用来跳远太棒了。
Jumpin on...
跳上去...
And jumping in...
接着跳进里面...
Big Nutbrown Hare was resting upder a tree when a box appeared in front of them.
大兔子正在一棵树下休息，一个盒子突然出现在他们面前。
It gave one hop and then stood absolutely still.
它跳了一下，就完全不动了。
"I'm a box monster!" shouted the box.
“我是一个盒子怪物!” 这个盒子大吼道。
Goodness me!
天啊！
Big Nutbrown Hare blinked his eyes and wondered if he was dreaming for he had never heard of a box monster before.
大兔子眨了眨眼睛，怀疑自己是不是在做梦，因为之前他从来没见过盒子怪物。
The box, or the monster - or maybe the box monster - took two hops forward.
这个盒子，也许是个怪物或者盒子怪物 - 朝前跳了两下。
"Here I come！" roared the box, hopping its biggest hop yet, and big Nutbrown Hare jumped behind the tree.
“我来了！” 这个盒子大吼着，迈出一大步，然后大兔子就跳到大树后面去了。
"I wonder should I run away！" said Big Nutbrown Hare.
“我想下要不要逃跑呢！” 大兔子说道。
"No!" shouted the box, which suddenly flew into the air. It's only me.
“不！” 盒子大喊，突然它就飞到了半空中。是我呀。
And there was Little Nutbrown Hare, who could hardly stop laughing.
大兔子狂笑不止。
"You're not a monster." said Big Nutbrown Hare.
“你不是怪物。” 大兔子说。
"But guess what?"
“但是你猜怎么着”
"What?"
“什么？”
"I'm a big nutbrown monster" - and I'm coming to get you！"
“我是大兔子怪物，我来抓你了！”
And so he did.
然后他扑过去把小兔子紧紧抱在怀里了。
