周五和外商汇报项目进度，助理毛毛说I'll end this project by Monday.听起来是，周一就能结束，但外商听得一头雾水，毛毛赶紧问我，"是我说错什么了吗？"，我告诉他，end可不能随便用哦！

End & Finish 有什么区别？
中文都是结束，完成，但是end 和finish在英文里的用法，完全不一样。
end：强调事情的结果
代表终止，了结的结果，比如合约终止，关系终止，会议结束，战争结束。对正在进行的项目说end，意思就变成，不继续做，马上叫停，听到这样的话，甲方爸爸一定会急眼的。
His contract ends this month.
他的合约本月终止。
I ended my relationship yesterday..
我昨天结束了我们的关系，分手了。
How does the story end?
最后故事结局如何？
finish：强调过程的结束
代表一个过程的完结，比如读完一本书，看完一场电影，吃完一顿饭，完成一个项目。
I'll finish this case by Monday.
我周一能完成这个案子。
I finish work at six.
我6点下班。
I need about an hour to finish off this report.
我需要一小时左右结束这篇报告。

读完了 ≠ Finish to read！
如果你没看出这句话错在哪，小编只能说，你的英文还不过硬，我们学的很多动词，可以有to do和doing，比如stop to do和stop doing. 但是finish是没有to do形式的，后面只能接ing。
She finished reading the book.
她读完这本书了。
Have you finished eating?
你吃完了吗？

"最终"是in the end 还是 at the end？
at the end=在最后，在....末尾
- 表示位置：
My house is at the end of the street
我的房子在街道的尽头。
- 表示虚拟的事物：
What happened to the boy at the end of the story?
故事最后，这个男孩结果如何？
- 表示时间：
I'm going on holiday at the end of the week.
我周末要去度假。
in the end=最终
等同于finally,at last表示最终。
In the end, I saw that she was right
最终，我意识到她是对的。
