worth 形容词，意为"值得；有……的价值(的)", 接在系动词后作表语。
1. be worth sth. 表示"……值……(钱)；……值得……；……与……等价"
The big house is worth millions of dollars.
这所大房子值数百万美元。
This restaurant is well worth a visit.这家饭店很值得光顾.
An hour in the morning is worth two in the evening.
(谚语)一日之计在于晨。
It is worth the trouble if you want to understand another culture.

2. be worth doing (某事)值得被做。动名词doing习惯上用主动形式表示被动意义，且句子主语往往是其后动名词的逻辑宾语，若其中的动词不及物，须加上适当的介词。
