廖彩杏一年52周书单中的第三十四周第三本经典有声绘本：The Itsy Bitsy Spider 中文《 小小蜘蛛爬水管》！
《The Itsy Bitsy Spider》描写一只努力向上爬的蜘蛛，即使被冲下水管（washed the spider out）、被老鼠尾巴弹开（flicked her with his tail），最终它还是能顺利爬上树、织好网，安心休息。歌曲中洋洋盈耳的押韵，如waterspout/out、door/more、stop/top、done/sun等许多押韵字母群组合，增加了许多辨识单字的机会。
一、 听绘本
视频歌谣是最容易走进孩子心灵的，增加孩子对绘本的好感度，唱出来是个好主意。这本书也正好有配套的歌唱音频，带着孩子一起唱起来吧。

太阳出来了，把雨水都晒干了，

Climbed up the spout again.
然后，小蜘蛛又在水管上努力地往上爬呀爬！

Climbed up the kitchen wall.

Swoosh! Went the fan
And made the spider fall.
哗哗响！风扇扇吹过来了，让小蜘蛛从墙上掉下来了。
Off went the fan.
No longer did it blow.
风扇关上了，不再吹了。
So the itsy bitsy spider
Back up the wall did go.
因此这只小蜘蛛又回到墙上了。

In came a mouse

作者 Iza Trapani（伊萨·特帕尼）原本是波兰人，在7岁的时候随妈妈去到美国，并且最后成为美国公民。
她的大部分作品十分有特色，都是根据鹅妈妈童谣改编。
她说：在她小时候，第一次接触到鹅妈妈童谣这本书，她就想着要为孩子画一系列的故事，最后，她做到了。她的作品受到美国以及全世界大人和孩子的热爱。
她的插画非常有特色，因为她很喜欢用水粉、水彩以及彩铅的创作素材来作画。因为她的作品都十分鲜艳夺目。
