今天要讲的是月亮“又大又圆”用英语怎么说？很多同学说的 big and round，实则不然。big 倒是没问题，这问题就出在 round 上。
round 表示“圆的”，强调球形。月亮作为一个球体，本身就是圆的，并不是到了十五才圆，所以就算初一说 the moon is round 也是对的。
那十五的月亮“圆”用英语怎么说呢？老外用的是这个单词：
“又大又圆”用英语怎么说？

又大又圆
老外说“圆月”通常说的是 full moon，月初的一轮新月叫 new moon，当月亮成为一个半圆时，就变成了 half moon。
所以呢，十五的月亮又大又圆要用 big and full 来形容。
The moon is big and full tonight.
今晚的月亮又大又圆。
once in a blue moon
非常难得，罕见的
blue moon 意思就是说月亮看起来是蓝色的，这是一种非常罕见的现象，所以人们就用 once in a blue moon 表示“非常难得，罕见”。

我很少看电视。

over the moon 不是“月亮之上”哦，它真正的意思是“非常开心”，“因......非常开心”可以说 be over the moon about something。

异想天开
ask for the moon 字面意思是“想要月亮”，这完全是不可能的嘛，所以这个短语的引申含义就是“异想天开、痴人说梦”。
