查英英字典：What a shame是什么意思？
“互联网 ”时代学习英语有两种“学习方法”：简单粗暴学法和自己动手丰衣足食法。
一、简单粗暴法：直接问老师要“中文答案”
在过去非互联网时代，“老师”往往是提供“答案”的唯一渠道，所以什么都要依赖“老师”才能学英语。
只是现在有了互联网，时代早已经不同了。而且，学习一句英语不仅仅只是为了“懂得”它的中文是什么意思。同样是学习一句英语，还包括训练查英英字典的习惯和能力。能看懂英英字典是需要反复训练的，而“听”老师“告诉”你“中文答案”实际上等于根本就没有学到什么英语能力。
可是，很多人“学”英语却忽视了这个问题：他们永远只关心“中文是什么？”
二、学好英语还包括动手查英英字典并看懂
你学习英语除了关心“中文什么意思”外，还注重训练查英英字典习惯和能力的训练吗？
1. 查Free Dictionary：对解释What a shame的用词
That is really unfortunate，or that's too bad，or What a pity
现在不需要中文，“看懂”并记住这些英语了吗？
2.查Cambridge Dictionary的用词
If something is described as a shame, it is disappointing or not satisfactory:
unfortunate, that's too bad,what a pity. It is disappointing,it's not satisfactory不都是一个意思吗？
我们需要训练的，是强迫自己记这些英语，而不是“轻松”记它的中文。
训练查英英字典并看懂的能力，是学习英语不可或缺的重要组成部分。可惜，被太多人省略掉了。其结果就是英语永远学不会，没进步。
三、口语训练：Okay.I got you
Okay.I got you.If you say What a shame,you mean What a pity.You mean That's too bad.That's really unfortunate,or That's too bad,or disappointing.
训练记忆英语的学习是很痛苦的，但是，这不是我们用记中文取而代之的理由。
