许多孩子总抱怨说我记住了英语单词，也掌握了单词的意思，可还是不能理解句子，读不懂课文呢。这是因为，在英语中，一个单词的意思不止一个，你掌握的可能只是单词的基本意思，没有掌握基本意思以外的引申意思。例如Under是个介词，在初中英语中表示“在......的下面”，例如，under the table在桌子下面，under the bed在床下面等。事实上，介词under的用法不止这一点，还表示“表示“......以下（的）”，“在......下”，“在......中”等，不信我们来看看吧。
