初中英语中掌握以下的几种交通方式，英语学习简单多了。
一：动词短语
1：take 修饰词 交通工具（ to 地点）。强调单纯地乘坐。
如：He likes taking the bus to school.
2：drive 修饰词 交通工具（ to 地点）。如drive the/his car.强调自己驾驶。
例如 I drive my car to work every day.
3:ride 修饰词 交通工具bike/motorbike（ to 地点）。
例如 --How do you always go to school?
--I always ride my bike.
4:walk to 地点。
例如He just walked to his grandparents' home.
二：动词drive/ride/fly/walk 地点。
例如 Her mother wants to ride/walk to work.
注意:当交通工具后面直接跟的是副词here,there,home等时，要省略介词to。
例如: She ofen rides the bike here.
=She ofen rides here.
三:介词短语
1:by 交通工具作方式状语。如by bike/bus/car/plane等。
例如 The man went there by subway just now.
2:on/in 修饰词 交通工具作方式状语。如on the bus/bike/train. 强调跨步上车，in the car强调弯腰进车。
例如 He got to school in his father's car yesterday.
3: on foot 步行。作方式状语。
I go to school on foot every day.
