too much 、much too、too many 三个短语长得很像，很容易混淆，如何进行区分呢？
这三个短语区分主要从汉语意思、所能修饰的词以及是否能够单独使用三个方面来区分。
一、用法解析：１、much too：
汉语意思：太,与too意思相同
不可以单独使用，使用时后面必须加形容词或副词
p.s. 所谓“单独使用”就是后面不加它所修饰的词。
如：I am much too tired (形容词). 我太累了。
You ran much too fast（副词）. 你跑得太快了。
２、too many
汉语意思：太多
不可以单独使用，使用时后面必须加可数名词复数
如：
There are too many people in the supermarket.
We should wear our masks (口罩).
超市里人太多。我们应该戴好口罩。
３、too much
汉语意思：太多
可以单独使用,分为两种情况：
1）放在动词或动词短语后面修饰动词。
如：
She played computer games too much.
她游戏玩得太多了。
也可以写成：
She played too many games.
类似于many和much的区分。
Thank（动词） you very much.
Many thanks.(名词)
2）放在及物动词后面做宾语
She ate too much yesterday.
昨天她吃太多了。
不单独使用时后面加不可数名词
如：
There is too much water on the road. Please be careful.
