还有三天就是中国的春节了。每年的这个时候，北京和上海这样的大城市仿佛瞬间变为了空城，打工者们大批返乡过节。不过，也有些一线工作者牺牲了与家人团聚的机会，留在大城市里坚守自己的岗位，保证城市居民生活的正常运转。《环球时报》英文版的摄影记者们今天走上街头，用镜头记录下一些留守北京和上海的打工者，和他们聊聊留守异乡的春节。
As the Chinese Lunar New Year is only three days away, Beijing now turns into an “empty city” as millions of residents are leaving the capital to reunite with their families back in their hometowns. But still, there are many people choosing to stay at the frontline of work to serve people’s needs. A Global Times photographer talked with 12 people in all walks of life who are working in Beijing on this family reunion occasion to unearth their stories.
还有三天就是中国的春节，北京城开始进入一年一度的“空城时间”。虽然大多数人都已经背着重重的行囊离开北京奔赴家乡，依然有很多人因为工作需要选择坚守在自己的岗位上。《环球时报》摄影记者和在春节期间依然奋战在一线的基层工作者们聊了聊他们的春节故事。
出租车司机，陈先生，58岁，北京市门头沟区。第18年春节期间工作，因为春节期间好拉活儿，收入可以比平时多一倍。
Zhu Chongde, 54, a security guard who hails from Zhangjiakou, North China’s Hebei Province. Zhu hasn’t returned home for Spring Festival for nine years in order to fulfill his duty. He said his family showed understanding toward him. He makes 200 yuan ($30) overtime pay per day during the Spring Festival holiday. 保安，朱冲德，54岁，河北省张家口人。第9年不回家过年。保安的工作性质决定这样，家里人比较理解。每天多200元加班费。除夕夜保安们一起吃个年夜饭。

菜店店员，付先生，34岁，河北石家庄人。第6年没回家，给家里邮钱回去就行。春节期间双薪，店里大家一起过年。
厨师，郑东波，46岁，来自辽宁抚顺，第15年不回家。餐饮行业春节期间格外忙碌，会错峰回家。
Ren Xingyi, 25, works at a pharmacy. This is the first time that Ren who comes from Qingyang in Northwest China’s Gansu Province stays at work during Spring Festival. Her family supported her decision and she is willing to endure the hardship when she is young. She will be the only staff at the pharmacy on the Lunar New Year Eve. 药房店员，任星伊，25岁，甘肃庆阳人。第一年不回家过年，家里支持。年轻愿意多吃点苦，十五以后会回家几天，除夕夜只有自己值班，不知道是否有加班工资。
Zhang Chunlin, 30, is a food delivery rider, who comes from Handan, Hebei Province. He doesn’t go home in his second year in Beijing as he wants to make more money. His father told him to keep safe while riding the electric bicycle. His estimated income during the Spring Festival holiday is from 3,000 to 5,000 yuan. 送餐骑手，张春林，30岁，河北邯郸人。第二年没回家，想多赚些钱。爸爸说骑车注意安全。春节期间预计收入可以多3000到5000元。他的年夜饭和在京老乡朋友一起吃。
加油工，赵腾飞，23岁，来自河北邢台。第五年没回家，加油工作没有节假日。家里说年轻要好好工作。春节期间三薪，他会和工友们聚餐过年。

公共自行车修理工，张海贵，50岁。六年中就前年回家一次过年，老家在张家口。因为工作需要无法回家，可以得到三倍薪水，自己喝点小酒庆祝新年。
孙建新，51岁，清洁工，第一年不回去过年，家住北京密云。会得到三倍薪水，和同事一起庆祝。

医生，宋词，32岁，工作9年一直在急救车上过除夕。最遗憾的是奶奶去世前一次的年夜饭没能和奶奶一起吃。春节期间三薪，领导会送饺子慰问。
护士，赵彩红，24岁，4年间大多在急救车上过年。老公抱怨过不能陪他过年，不过还是会在零点准时发信息送祝福。
司机，李铠奇，30岁，工作9年间春节大多不能回家，妈妈打电话说想儿子。
Xie Sanzhuang, 53, has been working as a cleaner in Shanghai for one year. Xie didn’t plan to return to his hometown in Luoyang, Central China’s Henan Province, this year for the Chinese Lunar New Year gathering. 谢三庄，53岁，河南洛阳人，来上海一年，环卫工，今年过年不回家，老婆也在上海不回去，家里有一个孩子成家了，他就和老婆在上海过年了，回家买车票太难，年纪大了，网上买票不会买，打算过好年后，抽空和老婆一起回家一次。
文心生，30岁，便利店收银员，还没成家，湖南人，老上海一年，父母都在广州，不打算回家过年，反正一个人，回去也没意思，一个人在哪里都能过年。
Xu Xionghui, 32, came to Shanghai with his wife from Southwest China’s Yunnan Province three years ago. Xu, a fruit shop clerk, has never returned home in the past three years. His three children aged from 6 to 10 years old stay in Yunnan and are taken care of by Xu’s parents. In the fruit shop, workers need to take turns to go home during Spring Festival. 许雄辉，32岁，云南人，水果店服务员，来上海三年多了，过年一次也没回去过。家里有三个孩子，大的10岁，最小的6岁。孩子在家由父母带着，父母很辛苦，带孩子还要干农活，他三年前和老婆一起出来打工。三年中回去过两次。但都不是在过年的时候回去的。水果店很多服务员，大家只能轮流回家过年。平时在这里最想的就是家里的孩子，但是没办法。出来打工就得忍受这些思乡之情，还好现在手机比较方便，可以视频。
王社干，48岁，河南人，环卫工。来上海一年多，今年过年不回家。家里有老婆，儿子，儿媳妇，他自己也想回家，天天都巴望着回家。但是没办法，出来就是挣钱来的。都回去了，工作谁来干，总不能为了回家不要工作。还有反正也买不到票，想着过好年后，抽空回去看看。

He has never returned to his hometown during Spring Festival over the past 8 years as the holiday is the busiest season. His wife takes care of his 11-year-old child in Zunyi. 牛鹃，贵州遵义人，43岁，送水工。家里孩子11岁，老婆在家带孩子。来上海8年了，过年一次也没回去过，过年的时候是最忙的时候，回去了，就损失比较大。9点钟的时候记者跟着他采访，一边采访一边送水，他说还有好几家没有送。平时就是想孩子，过年的时候什么都贵，票子还不好买。所以就干脆在平时的时候回去看看。

伍喜财，40岁，小区保安，安徽芜湖人，7年没回去过年了。小区里保安就这么多，每年只能轮到两个回去，一般也都是给家里有事的人回去。老婆也在上海过年，家里孩子13岁，平时上学都是寄宿制的。今年过年家里就孩子和父母一起过个年，他就在过好年之后和老婆一起回去看看。

刘建军，53岁，保安。来上海10年，就回去过两次。平时休息的时候还兼顾送外卖，想着老婆和两个孩子都在上海，但是家里还有年迈的父母。特别是父亲，神经压迫大腿，已经半瘫痪在床上，因为年纪太大，又不好做手术，所以心里最放不下的就是老父亲，想着今年过好年一定要回去看看老父亲。
Qin Aihong, 49, is a domestic worker from East China’s Anhui Province who came to Shanghai nearly 20 years ago. She hasn’t visited her hometown for three years. This year her husband and daughter, who is a freshman in college, will go to Shanghai to celebrate the festival. 秦爱红，49岁，安徽人，家政服务(保姆)。来上海将近20年，其中断断续续回去过几次，最近已经连续三年没回去过年了。今年女儿上大学了，丈夫也在上海，所以女儿就赶来上海一起过年。家里的房子已经两年没住没打扫了，所以回去了还得花很多精力去打扫，所以就干脆不回去了。
陈先生，30岁，安徽合肥人，小孩子刚刚6个月，京东快递员。很想回去陪孩子，但是家里的房子今年拆迁，回去了也没地方住，新房子还没下来，孩子和老婆住在丈母娘家，打算过好年，老婆带着孩子一起过来上海。
