很多家长在和孩子一起阅读英文书时容易进入一个误区，就是照本宣科的给孩子读一两遍书中原文，然后简单翻译一下孩子不认识的英文单词，这就算完成英文启蒙阅读了。实际上这个阶段的英文阅读，关键在于家长如何通过英文读物的故事性和趣味性引起孩子对英文阅读的兴趣，并通过阅读中的互动和孩子一起探索书中的故事世界，在阅读过程中体验英语。所以此时的关键是阅读过程中和孩子的趣味互动。
以往的文章中曾经和您分享过，同一本牛津树故事大牛爸一般会通过三种阅读方式来进阶故事阅读，帮助大牛逐步理解故事，拓展思维，在故事中探索和体验英语。大牛爸定义这种阅读方法为：阅读三步递进法。接下来就以牛津树Monkey Tricks这本小书为例，一页一页向您介绍如何和孩子进行分级读物的阅读互动来更好地激发孩子对英语的兴趣。
在正式读书前，大牛爸一般会先将小书给大牛自己翻一翻看一看。一般情况下，如果大牛感兴趣，会反复翻几遍小书；如果不喜欢基本上翻两页就放在一边了。对于大牛感兴趣的故事自然好办。但对于大牛兴趣一般或者不是特别感兴趣的故事，大牛爸无意中发现一个引起大牛读书兴趣的好办法（一次大牛爸在准备工作中PPT，也就是幻灯片。大牛看到后就对PPT的放映特别感兴趣，因此大牛爸就尝试把一些小书做成PPT放映给大牛看，没想到相当有效）。
此后大牛爸有时间就会将一些新书做成PPT放给大牛看。这样大牛就特别有兴趣看，而且也相当于是预习了一遍书中内容。同时因为引起了兴趣，所以晚上和大牛读书时互动效果反而更好了。（Monkey Tricks阅读视频一起分享给您，希望可以给您一些启发。）
接下来，我们就第二步扩展阅读与第三步扩展阅读结合起来向您做介绍吧（第一步原文阅读您一定没问题，大牛爸指提醒您一点，文字部分最好边用手指边阅读）。因为牛津树原文基本上都是过去时态，您在互动阅读和扩展阅读时可以自由调整为现在时态，过去时态或将来时态，这对孩子的阅读理解是没有影响的，同时您也不必在语法上过度纠结。
封面：
介绍主题：展示封面，读出书名Monkey Tricks；
扩展问题：What do you think the story will be about? (你认为这个故事是关于什么？) 引起孩子的思考，让孩子带着问题一起读故事；尽量引导孩子说句子，或家长自问自答让孩子熟悉句子增加语感。
问题1：What are dad and Kipper looking at? (爸爸和Kipper在看什么？) They are looking at the poster. (他们在看海报)。
问题2：What can you see in the poster? (海报中你能看到什么？)。I can see monkeys（我看到了猴子）
问题3：What`s the color of the monkeys. (海报中) 回答: They are yellow.

阅读原文：The children went to the zoo (孩子们去了动物园)
扩展阅读&思考：
Where are they now? (他们现在在哪) They are at the zoo. (他们在动物园)
What dad is doing now? (爸爸在干什么)；Dad is buying tickets for them. (爸爸在买票)
What animals can you see in the picture? (图片中你可以看到哪些动物？)；I can see a Giraffe and a panda.

原文阅读：They Looked at the Giraffes. The Giraffes were tall (他们在看长颈鹿，长颈鹿非常高。)
扩展阅读：
Though there is a sign saying ‘no photo taking’, A man is still taking pictures of the Giraffes. (尽管有禁止拍照的标志，一个人仍在给长颈鹿拍照)
A man is cleaning the waste around the giraffes.(一个人正在清理长颈鹿身边的垃圾)
