1.：表示“是”的意思
Be动词有三种形式：am, is, are
2.动词记忆口诀
I用am, you用are, is连着他(he),她(she),它(it)
我们(we)你们(you)他们(they)要用are ;
单数is 复数are
不要混淆记牢它。
变否定真容易, be后not莫忘记.
3.人称单数（I）用am 例如：I am (I’m) a student.
第二人称（You）连着are来用 例如： You are my friend.
第三人称单数（He/she/It）连着is使用 例如：She is my sister. He is my brother. It is a dog.
复数人称(we/you/they)连着are使用
例如：We are happy. You are beautiful. They are my friends.
be动词的否定形式
1. I am not a doctor. I am a teacher.
2. You are not a teacher. You are a student.
3.Jack is not a girl. He is a boy .
be afraid of doing sth否定：be not afraid of doing sth
I am afraid of flying.
