英语“搭顺风车”是car-sharing,car-pool,还是get a lift?
我们“学”英语，一个“很坏”的习惯就是：不管读什么样的英语都必须要解决“中文是什么”才能“学”，才能“懂”。不管你这样做的理由是什么，其结果只能是，它是完成我们多年英语学习始终处于“低端”的主要原因。一个人既然学英语，“说”和“用”的都无法做到“是英语的”，记住和使用的不是大量的英语，而是英汉“一比一配方”式的中文，我们的英语怎么能不总是在低端徘徊？这跟中国当年总是做“贴牌工厂”一样，做的再多，“大头”还是被别人拿去。
因此，学并学好英语挑战的是你能不能在“学”英语的时候“使用”和“记忆”大量的英语。
这是我训练英语的重要原则：你“说”(英译汉)十句英语都没用，都抵不上你跟我“说”和“用”一句英语。
比如，英语里有car-sharing，car-pool和get a lift
1.I often go to work,or school by car-sharing(car-share).
2.Let's car-pool to work,or to school.
3.I get a lift(a free ride) in Mary's car to work every day.
这三个表达中究竟哪个是“搭顺风车”？
下面的“阅读”给你的是一次“边读边使用”英语的机会或者锻炼，不是给你英译汉“读懂”。你需要通过“阅读”，“会说”，也会“记住”大量英语，不是记住很多中文。
下面轮到你是“说”英语和“记住”你说的英语，而不是记住你的英译汉中的中文：
1) 读英语：
What is carpool? Carpool vs Car Share
Carpool is the original ride sharing. Basically, you take a passenger in your car when you commute or take a trip, instead of riding alone.
2) 说英语：
读到上面的英语，你对于carpool“说”出来的是英语，还是它的中文译文？
1. Okay.I got you.I konw what carpool means.
2.Carpool means You drive a car and you get/take someone/some passengers,your friends,some strangers,etc. riding with you in your backseat,instead of you driving alone in a car and him driving alone in his car.
“学并学好”英语，难就难在你根本“说不出”也记不住这些(高中级别的)英语，而不是你根本“不会英译汉”：Yoy drive your car and you take some passangers in your car.
记住这句英语来记住carpool什么意思很困难吗？
3.To commute means go to work or school from and back home in your car,or in a bus,in a train,etc.
3)读英语
What is car sharing?
Car sharing, or car share, means a kind of short term car rental, for replacing car ownership. Instead of owning a car, becoming a car share member gives you access to a fleet of different types of cars that can be used for as little as an hour.
4)“说”英语
除非你真正无法直接用英语“读懂”上面高中水平的英语，否则，该做的就不再是英译汉“阅读”，而是“边读英语边说英语”了。
你甚至可以不必完全读懂，读懂其中的关键词就足够“说”英语了：
1.Okay.I got you.If you don't own a car/don't have a car,you rent a public car and drive it your self for a few hours,or for less than one hour,then you are car-sharing,you are travelibg by car-share.Everyone car use the same car and drive after they pay.
你能“说”并记住这些英语吗？这比你只会英译汉重要，也具挑战性更多。这才是“学并学好”英语的精髓，不是看你会“英译汉”多寡。
“说”好这些英语就是英语口语了。
难道非得要分别用car pool,car share,take a lift“造句”带中文翻译才叫“英语口语”吗。
1.I usually go to work,or school by car-sharing(car-share).
我上班上学一般是坐共享汽车
2.Let's car-pool to work,or to school.
我们拼车上班上学吧
3.I get a lift(a free ride) in Mary's car to work every day.
我搭Mary的顺风车。
