大多数高考英语考纲词汇集，只列了单词、词性和词义，没有例句和辨析讲解。笔者试图在考纲词汇的基础上，给出例句或短语，并对个别重点词汇作出讲解、辨析，希望对老师的教学和学生的学习有所帮助。
知识在于积累。在没有特殊原因的情况下，我计划根据考纲词汇，争取坚持每天讲解几个单词，不断更新。忙很了，也可能过几天才能更新。
在讲解过程中，错误在所难免，希望读者在发现错误的时候，及时在评论区给予批评、指正。
grain n. [U]谷物，谷类 [C]谷粒：
Grain is used for making flour. 谷物用来做面粉。
Bring in every single grain. 颗粒还仓。
gram n.克。（重量单位）
Then they chose one gram for weighing water in a cubic centimetre.
然后他们将一立方厘米水的重量定为一克。
grammar n. [U]语法 [C]语法书：
Is grammar important when learning English?
在学英语的过程中，语法重要吗?
grand adj.庄严的，雄伟的，显赫的：
He lives in a grand house.
他住在一栋富丽堂皇的房子里。
grandchild(pl grandchildren) n.孙子。
I wonder if my grandchild can solve the problem himself.
我不知我孙子一人可能解决那个问题。
granddaughter n. [C]孙女，外孙女：
Her granddaughter is lovely. 她的孙女很可爱。
grandma=grandmother n. [C]祖母，外祖母：
I’ve been to see your grandmother.
我(刚才)看你奶奶去了。
grandpa=grandfather n. [C]祖父，外祖父：
Grandfather won’t allow it. 爷爷不会允许这样做。
grandparents n.外祖父（母）：
My grandparents live in Xuan Cheng.我祖父母住在宣城。
grandson n. [C]孙子；外孙：
Her grandson is kind to her. 她的外孙对她很好。
granny n.奶奶，外婆：
Look what granny’s bought you! 瞧奶奶给你买了什么！
grape n.葡萄：
a bunch of grapes一串葡萄。
graph n.图表：
He showed me a graph of their recent sales.
他给我看了一张有关他们最近销售额的图表。
grasp v./n.抓（牢），抓（紧）：
Make sure you grasp the rope with both hands.
一点要用双手抓紧绳索。
The book slipped from his grasp and fell to the floor.
书从他的手里滑落到地板上。
grass n. [U,C]草，草地：Keep off the grass. 勿踏草地。
grateful a.感谢的，感激的：Doctor Wang has received hundreds of letters from grateful patients.
王医生收到了百封向他表示感谢的患者来信。
