《词语句篇教学模式》以《英语课程标准》和广东高考《考试大纲说明》为指南，遵循“词(词汇vocabularies)不离语、语(语块combinations)不离句、句(句子sentences)不离篇 (篇章discourses)” 的教学原则，构建《词汇：分级分类学习册》、《语法：语言知识一本通》和《语篇：运用能力步步高》三大门类、从入门到高考英语学习过程中既相互联系、又独成系统的知识能力体系。
《词汇：分级分类学习册》词汇表根据《英语课程标准》（2003年版）词汇表校对，共3429条，另外增加most, must两个词条，其中词义、短语、例句等摘录自《朗文现代英语词典》、《新牛津英汉双解大词典》《现代英汉综合大词典》、《美国传统辞典(双解)》等权威英语学习词典，精选贴近高考的用法搭配。
