butter face
Wikitionary上对butterface的解释为：A woman who has an attractive body but less attractive facial features.
意思是一个身材很好但是长得不好看的姑娘。
Urban Dictionary上对这个词的定义是：A girl who is hot,except for her face.
巴特脸“butter face”是“but her face”的谐音。
最开始它是起源于某个男人对女生外表的一种带有性别歧视的笑话。比如，男生在相亲后说：“Everything about her was attractive but her face.（她的一切都很吸引我，除了她的脸。）”
关于“butter face”的written evidence可以追溯到1997年，这个俚语在当时黑人所在的学校被称为“butta face”，在2000开始逐渐在男性群体中流行开来。
2009年，UD将这个词设置成“Word of the Day”，引发了一场关于性别歧视的讨论。
2015年，美国电台主持人Howard Stern在拉斯维加斯举办了一场Miss Buttaface的选美比赛，将这个词带到了主流文化中。
尽管最初这个词起源于性别歧视的玩笑，但是随着时间的推移，butterface逐渐演变成指代那些不够吸引人的脸（the face of an unattractive person）。
2016年的电影，超英死侍就自称自己是“a butterface”，Vice Magazine在报道那些不够吸引人的狗的品种时也引用了“butterface”这一词。
Examples of butterface

▷ No he needs the stubble and glasses to disguise his actual face put it back. Get this butterfaced stranger away from me.

game face
Dictionary上对game face的解释为：a neutral or intense facial expression that suggests a focus on winning, as in a competitive sport or card game.
在正经严肃的比赛中，选手的表情通常是严肃认真的，所以这个词指的就是“严肃坚定的表情”。
牛津词典上对game face的定义为：a serious expression on somebody's face, typical of somebody trying to win in a sport or game.
Examples of game face
▷ I put my game face on and didn't let them see I was injured.
▷ The president seemingly always has his game face on.
关于“game”这个词，除了游戏、运动、比赛之类的意思，还有其他的含义，小伙伴们可不要蒙了哟！
① the way in which a person plays a particular sport
▷ 比赛（或游戏）使用的方法；比赛（或游戏）技巧
Susan is playing golf every day to try to improve her game.
苏珊每天打高尔夫努力提高球技。

除此以外，game作为形容词，还有“愿意尝试的；有冒险精神的”这层意思。
例如：
It was a difficult challenge, but Roberta was game.
这是个难度很高的挑战，但是罗伯塔很乐于尝试一下。

duck face
Duck face指的可不是鸭子脸，它其实是一种拍照姿势，嘟嘴缩脸卖萌的表情就叫做“duck face”。
除了“duck face”，还有“duck walk”。
“duck walk”指的是那种蹲得很低的行走的方式，类似于跟踪和潜行（stalking and prowling）。它也是军队训练当中一种体能锻炼的方式。
这种“duck walk”的方式闻名于摇滚吉他手Chuck Berry。
除了以上这些face，还有很多，比如说“poker face”、“sally face”、“pizza face”以及“a long face”，你都知道它们表达的是什么意思吗？
