年初的时候发起了一个抽奖活动，给 @书到今生读已迟 这名读者朋友寄去了《寻梦环游记》这本英文原版书。
在寄出去之前把这本书读完了，做了一些阅读笔记和大家分享。
先简单聊一聊我眼中 Coco 的故事。
“死亡” 和 “别离” 一直是我害怕又抗拒的话题，但这部电影让这两个词有了温度和色彩。
故事最触动我的是两个场景。
# 隐秘追梦人 #
Miguel 蹑手蹑脚拿起吉他，来到阁楼隐秘小角落，把攒下的海报看了一遍又一遍，把磁带听了一遍又一遍。
就像是青春期的自己，所有欣喜悸动，因为害怕不被理解、不被支持，把一切暗藏心底，隐秘而炽烈。
# 因为被记得 #
“爱” 的反面不是 “恨”，而是遗忘。就像是电影里的台词一样：
真正的死亡，是世界上再也没有一个人记得你。The real death is that no one in the world remembers you.
Miguel 抱着吉在曾祖母跟前，唱起 Remember Me, 幼时的记忆浮现脑海。
Remember me before the memory of love disappears.
我想，或许这也是拍照记录的意义吧，捕捉值得纪念的瞬间，珍藏值得回忆的美好。
被记得，有时就是一种幸福。
除了故事情节感人，《寻梦环游记》也有不少值得记录的表达：
几个小词
butcher
作动词，还可以表示“搞砸”，比如有的电影剧本很好，但却因为演技烂而不卖座 The script was good, but those guys butchered it.
hiccup
hiccup 还可以表示遇到的一些麻烦事、头疼事，类似 headache 。
比如：“唯一的麻烦就在于见到Ernesto 并不是件容易的事” One hiccup, Ernesto is a tough guy to get to.
blech
作动词可以表示 “喷出、冒出……（浓烟、火花等）”。
比如各种化工厂烟囱冒出的滚滚浓烟就可以用这个词造句：Smoke bleched from the factory chimneys.
elbow
elbow “手肘”也可以作为动词，比如 elbowed his way through guests 指的就是“从人群中挤出一条通道”。
类似的，还有很多和身体部位有关的词可以做动词用，比如 eye、eyeball、shoulder 等。
partygoer
partygoer 意思是“派对爱好者”
学几个可爱的词
walkie-talkie
walkie-talkie 的意思是 “对讲机”，这样的搭配让我想起了一句话 “talk the talk, walk the walk 喊破嗓子，不如甩开膀子” 。
另外还找到几个类似的词， “手提电视摄像机 walkie-lookie”，“步听机 walkie-hearie”，是不是感觉有点萌萌的？
"Upsy-daisy", said the officer.
Upsy-daisy 是个比较口语化的词，比如自己或他人出错、掉东西、摔倒等时脱口而出的一句 “天哪,哎呀”，有时候也写作 oops-a-daisy。
类似一些谐音词还有 “okey-dokey 好啦好啦” “Holy moly 诶呦我去”。
学几个表达
shrug sth off
对……不当回事，置若罔闻，不以为然
Ignoring the musician, Miguel shrugged off Ernesto's unfortunate death.
类似表达的还有 turn a deaf ear to sth……/ turn a blind eye to……
对此，他只是一笑了之，毫不在乎
He just laughed and shrugged it off.
know better than...
意思是应该知道不该……可以用来对某人做某事表示不满、后悔、劝阻等。
You know better than to be here in this place. 你应该知道不该来这里的。
through and through
A shoemaker. Through and through.
through and through 一般放在句末，强调“彻头彻尾的……”，比如他绝对是你的亲生儿子 He is your son, through and through.
Go home my way or no way
“要么按我的方式回，要么就别回”，照这个句子改写：Do it my way or my way. “要么照做，要么滚蛋 ”。
You're on standby.
“随时准备，下一个就是你了”，on standby 是一个固定说法，意思是“处于待命状态”。
书中还出现了一个类似语境的表达：You're on in thrity seconds. 你还有三十秒上场。
