“春运”，Spring Festival travel rush，也可以直接表达为Spring Festival rush。 Spring Festival指的是Chinese Lunar New Year，中国农历新年，即春节。Rush意为“忙碌(时刻)、(交通等的)繁忙”，例如：When the rush was over, he insisted that everybody take a day off.（那一阵忙过之后, 他一定要大家休假一天。）rush也可以表示“抢购、争购、蜂拥前往”，例如：There was a rush for the concert tickets.（出现了争购音乐会入场券的热潮。）

春运是中国大陆在农历春节前后发生的一种大规模的高交通运输压力的现象，大多数乘客是放寒假的大学生和返乡过年的农民工。Most of the passengers are college students on their winter vacation and migrant workers returning home for Spring Festival.。客流将集中在北京、广州、重庆、武汉等城市。Passenger flows will be concentrated in Beijing, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan and some other cities.

这就是所谓的“春运潮”，是世界上规模最大的年度人口流动，在三周的时间里，人流量可达到2.38亿人次，超过了穆斯林赴麦加朝觐的规模。The “spring rush”, as it is called, is the largest annual movement of people in the world, with a total of 2.38bn journeys over three weeks, surpassing even the Hajj, the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.

我身边有些朋友全天24小时登录12306的账号，生怕错过了回家的车票，但是大家仍然没有买到回家的火车票。也有人找黄牛抢票，更多的是通过抢票插件进行抢票。
