经常见到这样的句子∶
I have a lot of work to do. 我有很多工作要做。
问：这里能够使用to be done么？to do 与 to be done 有什么区别?
其实，二者含义是不同的。
to do指说话人本人要去做的工作，而to be done则指说话人给予别人的任务。
试比较∶
(1)
There is nothing to do. 没有事干。
There is nothing to be done. 没有办法。
(2)
There is nothing to see. 没有值得看的。
There is nothing to be seen. 什么也看不见。
但有时二者没有区别，如∶
There is no time to lose(to be lost).
时不我待。
