Annie, a gender fluid child, who at 10-year-old decided they did not identify as a girl or a boy, says their identity can change throughout the day

Gender Fluidis a gender identity best described as a dynamic mix of boy and girl. A person who is Gender Fluid may always feel like a mix of the two traditional genders, but may feel more boy some days, and more girl other days.

Being Gender Fluid has nothing to do with which set of genitalia one has, nor their sexual orientation.

If you’re thinking that this is a giant water droplet on a plate, guess again. It’s actually Mizu Shingen Mochi, a new Japanese rice cake that certainly tricks our eyes but is supposedly delicious. It even uses water harnessed from the Japanese Alps! The makers of this dessert say that it tastes like a traditional mochi, which is sweet and usually sprinkled with soybean powder and paired with brown syrup.

It looks like a large drop of water, but it’s actually a cake. This Japanese invention is as delicate as it looks and sounds, but it needs to be consumed in only 30 minutes, after which it will simply turn into a sweet puddle of water. So it needs to be consumed in the company’s shops and cannot be ordered ‘to go’.

The water cake looks like a large bowl of jelly without the color. This delicate sweet is perfect for spring~plus it is sakura season now in Japan.

Choice anxietyis induced by the need to choose between similar options and is increasingly being recognized as a problem for individuals.

Research on consumerism shows that shoppers experience increased anxiety when asked to choose from a greater number of similar products. In this case, a reduction of choices reduces anxiety and eases decision-making.

For example:

I suffer from a terrible choice anxiety, even when I'm having a fanatastic time, because there is always something else I'm missing out on. Life was so much easier when there were fewer options.

Unboxingis an act or instance of removing a newly purchased product from its packaging and examining its features, typically when filmed and shared on a social media site.

Some consider the popularity of this practice is due to the ability of showing the product exactly for what it is without any adulteration advertisers usually make around the product. Being able to see what you are getting can contribute to the decision process.

For example:

Check out the full review, as well as some unboxing pics by hitting the link.

Tucked away in a quiet residential street in Kawasaki city in Japan is a refurbished workshop with a plain silver exterior and black draped windows that residents describe as creepy.

The business inside, Sousou, is one of Japan's latest so-called corpse hotels, a camouflaged morgue used to store some of Japan's mounting pile of bodies waiting for a spot in one of the nation's overworked crematoriums.

At a daily rate of 9,000 yen ($82) family members can keep their deceased relative in one of Sousou's 10 rooms for up to four days until a crematorium can be found.

Unlike other such morgues-in-disguise, which try to blend in by looking like hotels, Sousou doesn’t refrigerate corpses, relying on air conditioned rooms instead.

As Japan ages its people are dying off at a faster pace.

Street scoreis a valuable or useful item found on the street or in the trash.

Street score

The word score is here used as a laundered version of a criminal slang term that means “goods or money obtained illegally, esp. as the result of a successful crime.”

Street score

Street score in Brooklyn!!! It’s been a while since I’ve found a gem in the trash. But this morning I stumbled upon a super clean copy of Voodounon by Lafayette Afro Rock Band.

—johnnyfego, “street score in…,” Instagram, December 6, 2015

Our chairs were street scores, the gifts of garbage night.

—Veronica Varlow, “Magic Monday: Room Readings are New Palm Readings,” Danger Diary, June 3, 2013

My nose has been known to twitch when a “street score” yields a new bookshelf, a set of drinking glasses, or someone else’s discarded knitting supplies.

Cold finger means to ignore someone's text or social media site message and comment, especiallly when this person's message is pointless or uncalled for.

This expression is similar to "cold shoulder", a phrase used to express dismissal or the act of disregarding someone. The only difference is that cold finger is usually hidden behind a screen, while cold shoulder can be right in front of your face.

I cold fingered him.

"Man, I just got called into work for another 16 hour weekend shift."

"Lol, I never work weekends lol"
