性别会连续变化的“流性人”
流性人，就是指在不同时间经历性别认知改变的人，在他/她内心男孩儿和女孩儿的性别特征和表现交织在一起，而不适应传统的女孩或是男孩的框架。

If you’re thinking that this is a giant water droplet on a plate, guess again. It’s actually Mizu Shingen Mochi, a new Japanese rice cake that certainly tricks our eyes but is supposedly delicious. It even uses water harnessed from the Japanese Alps! The makers of this dessert say that it tastes like a traditional mochi, which is sweet and usually sprinkled with soybean powder and paired with brown syrup.

治不好的“选择焦虑症”
有的人就是天生的纠结帝，小到中午吃饭去哪吃，大到毕业是要考研、出国还是工作都得苦思冥想一番，越想越迷茫。对于这些人来说，选择越多，焦虑越多；选择越难以取舍，焦虑越深。

Research on consumerism shows that shoppers experience increased anxiety when asked to choose from a greater number of similar products. In this case, a reduction of choices reduces anxiety and eases decision-making.
消费主义研究显示，面对的相似产品选择越多，购物者的选择焦虑就越严重。在这种情况下，减少现有选择的数量能够减轻焦虑并有助于购物者做决定。

Unboxingis an act or instance of removing a newly purchased product from its packaging and examining its features, typically when filmed and shared on a social media site.
Unboxing指打开新购买物品的外包装，检查其特性，并拍照或拍成视频社交媒体网站的行为，即“开箱晒单”。
Some consider the popularity of this practice is due to the ability of showing the product exactly for what it is without any adulteration advertisers usually make around the product. Being able to see what you are getting can contribute to the decision process.
有人认为这种晒单行为越来越受欢迎是因为人们通过这些晒单可以看到产品真实的状况，而不是广告商修饰过的样子。看到顾客实际得到的产品有助于其他人在购买时做决定。

日本催生“遗体旅馆”
伴随着日本人口老龄化，每年死亡人数渐增，而火葬场供不应求，以至于不少死者遗体来不及火化。瞄准这一需求，日本川崎市商人竹菱寿夫（音译）2014年开办了一家“遗体旅馆”，用于暂时在普通客房内存放等待火化的遗体，眼下生意相当红火。
Tucked away in a quiet residential street in Kawasaki city in Japan is a refurbished workshop with a plain silver exterior and black draped windows that residents describe as creepy.

Street scoreis a valuable or useful item found on the street or in the trash.

The word score is here used as a laundered version of a criminal slang term that means “goods or money obtained illegally, esp. as the result of a successful crime.”

前有冷肩膀，现有“冷手指”
我们不想搭理某人的时候，通常都是一副冷冰冰的面孔，所以，英语里会有cold shoulder这样对应的表达。如今，在数字时代，很多日常交流都搬到了网络上，你若想不理一个人，只要无视ta的短信和留言就行了。于是，就有了我们今天要说的这个表达：cold finger。
Cold finger means to ignore someone's text or social media site message and comment, especiallly when this person's message is pointless or uncalled for.
“冷手指”指无视某人的短信或者社交媒体上发来的私信和评论，尤其当这些信息毫无意义，也没啥道理的时候。
看到cold finger这个说法，你是不是觉得有点眼熟？没错，其实这个说法就是从cold shoulder这个短语衍生出来的。
This expression is similar to "cold shoulder", a phrase used to express dismissal or the act of disregarding someone. The only difference is that cold finger is usually hidden behind a screen, while cold shoulder can be right in front of your face.
这个表达与cold shoulder类似，后者通常用来表达拒绝或无视的行为。二者唯一的区别是，cold finger通常是躲在屏幕后面完成的，而cold shoulder可能是当着你的面表现的。
在使用的时候，我们通常会说give someone the cold shoulder，不过，在数字时代，如果我们对某人的短信视而不见，也可以直接说：I cold fingered him.
