首先，看一看 think 的各种形式与用法：
thinks（三单）- thinking（现在分词）- thought（过去式）- thought（过去分词）
think 的用法：
think 表示“想，认为，思考”
Let me think！让我想一想。
What are you thinking (about)?
你在想（思考）什么？
think 句子（宾语从句）是最常见的用法；
I think （that）he won't be late again.
我认为他不会再迟到了。
I think (that) it is easy to learn English well.
我认为学好英语很容易。
注意：当 I think 后面所接的宾语从句表示否定时，需要“否定转移”至主句上；
I don't think (that) he will come to my party.
我认为他不会来参加派对。
I think (that) he will not come to my party. （错误）
如从句是含有否定副词时，可不用转移，如：never, seldom...
I think he will never talk to me again.
我认为他再也不会跟我说话了。
与 think 有相同用法的动词还有：believe（相信），guess（猜测）...
think 相关的短语：
think about 考虑
I don't have time to think about this.
我没空考虑这个。
Give me 3 minutes to think about it.
给我三分钟考虑一下。
think of 认为，考虑，想出，想起
What do you think of...= How do you like...?
认为...怎么样/如何? （重点考查）
考查搭配：what 搭配 think of；how 搭配 like；
What do you think of the movie?
= How do you like the movie?
你认为这个电影如何？
We should think of a name for our team.
我们应该给队伍想一个名字。
I can't think of her name now.
我现在想不起她的名字了。
I think so. 与 I don't think so.
这是常见的口语表达；
I think so. 我也这样认为，我想是的；
I don't think so. 我不这样认为；
-Time is money.
-I think so.
时间就是金钱。我也是这样认为的。
think twice (about sth.) 三思而行，慎重考虑
twice 两次，两遍
You must think twice before you do it.
做之前一定要三思。
Make sure you have thought twice about it.
确定你已经慎重考虑过了。
我们再来学习 want 的用法：
wants（三单）- wanting（现在分词）- wanted（过去式）- wanted（过去分词）
want 表示 “要，想要，需要”
want sth. 想要/需要...
I want some apples.
我想要些苹果。
Do you want some noodles?
你要来点面条吗？
want (sb.) to do sth. 想要（某人）做某事
I want to go home now.
我现在想回家了。
He really wants me to help him with English.
在英语方面他真的想要我的帮助。
That's what I want to know.
那就是我想要知道的。
初中英语中还可以表示“想要（做）”的表达有：
would like sth./to do sth.
feel like sth./doing sth.
I would like some fish.
我想要来点鱼肉。
I would like to read in the library.
我想要去图书馆读书。
She feels like some grapes.
她想要些葡萄。
When you feel like giving up, think of this man.
当你想要放弃的时候，想想这个人。
