昔日,舵手转舵使船首迎风行驶,常常是为了避开险滩,但船首又必须略微避开正面的风力才能前行,所以aloof从其本意“转舵向风”引申出“避开”及“隔开”等意。用作形容词时,词义为“冷漠的”或“孤零零的”。
