在语文关卡中,小学部语文组的老师们精心设计了从汉字的辨形、拼读、组词、造句等不同维度的小游戏来检测同学们的基本功,这些有趣又生动的考察形式对青苗学子来说可谓是易如反掌。

认拼音、认汉字、口语交际、背诵诗文、看图表达不仅可以巩固学生平时在课上所学的语文知识,还可以锻炼学生们在日常生活中的口语表达能力、提高记忆力。

从摆物品、物品分类整理等提高学生动手整理能力的关卡,再到认时间、认人民币这样的生活必备小常识,都体现了老师们在设置关卡时充分考虑到该年龄段的孩子应该掌握的学习知识,并且结合实际生活所需小常识所设计的游戏。孩子们在游戏中无形地掌握了一些生活小常识,可谓是一举两得。

此次游园会,老师们发现大家的进步都非常大,大家很积极地参与到游园活动中来,比如背诵古诗这个环节,大多数同学都能够很流利地背诵出来;在妙语连珠讲故事这个环节,同学们能根据三幅不同的话想出多种天马行空的故事来。另外,在看图创编数学应用题这个环节,不仅考察了同学的看图抓取关键信息的能力,同时还考验了他们快速运算的能力。在认时间、认用人民币环节中,同学们学会了自己认时间,也能计算一些日常用品的金额,同学们几乎都成功地购买了“商品”,老师为你们感到高兴!

这次的游园会是小学部老师们集思广益的成果,将英文、数学、语文甚至科学、体育方面的知识都融合在一起,这也是IB所一直所倡导的超学科融合课程。在有限的学习时间里,可以学习到不同科目的知识,利用这种跨学科的课程形态打破学科壁垒,形成知识和学科的融合。让学生用多学科的思维去理解知识,更让让学生形成自己的观点,认知自我,教育正是帮助学生实现自我认知,这也是青苗的老师们一直所坚持的初衷。
