这个意思在英语里同样适用

红灯是“Red Light”、绿灯是“Green Light”，黄灯是“Yellow Light”吗？
其实 Yellow Light 这种说法也是可以的，只不过黄色信号灯还有一个很地道的表达是：amber（英[mb(r)]，美[mbr]）或者 amber light。
Amber是“琥珀”、“琥珀色”的意思，信号灯中的黄灯亮起来的时候就有点像琥珀，由此得名。

A flashing amber light means you may move forward with caution.
