大家都知道
“电”是“electricity”
那么“手机没电”就是

手机没电
1. out of juice
这里的 juice 是一个俚语，表示 power ，电量的意思。
2. have a low battery
电量低，battery是电池的意思。
3. The power is out/ dead.
手机没电了，关机了，暂时用不了了。
例：
The battery in our car had died.
我们汽车的电池已经没电了。
The battery is dead. It needs to be recharged.
电池没电了，它需要重新充电。
Dead这个用法很形象
没电的手机就仿佛dead一样毫无反应，没毛病！
dead to the world
形容人像没电的手机，任人摆布都没反应，比如睡的死沉死沉那种，就可以说dead to the world
例：
He was tired after the day's work, and was soon dead to the world.
他一天干下来十分劳累， 很快就熟睡了。
另外，dead to the world 再深一点可以表达避世心态，就是对全世界而言他都很没存在感的那种。说一个人dead to the world ，那他可能是个世外高人，超然世外，也可能是个正儿八经的御宅，闭塞不通，再有可能就是对世界失望透了，不闻不问
例：
During two long weeks Tom lay a prisoner, dead to the world and its happenings.
在漫长的两周里，汤姆像个犯人似地在家躺着，与世隔绝。
Rosie is very tired and dead to the world.
Rosie对这个世界感到非常的疲惫和失望。

pal 是伙伴的意思，在这里 pal 有点通中文充电宝中的”宝“，字面意思就是“电量伙伴”，理解一下，就是充电宝的意思了。
