(1)修饰名词时与具体数字连用，不用复数，也不用of,如： two million dollars
(2)若无具体数字来修饰，须用“复数 of 名词”形式,表示数量之多。如：millions of trees
(3)两者都有可用several和 some修饰, 但a few只能修饰单数,many只能修饰复数。如：几百人
a few hundred men；many hundreds of men；several/some hundreds of men
(4)two hundred students两百学生（只有两百）two hundred of the students学生中的两百（两百是一部分）

(1)形容词，医学的，医疗的，医术的，常用作定语，修饰名词，如medical care医疗护理；
(2)名词形式medicine,如： take/have some medicine吃药品 some medicine for cough一些咳嗽药

(1)名词，可与不定冠词连用，也可用复数形式，但通常不与many或数字连用，后可接介词 into， on。如： Professor Wang’s carrying out a math research.
(2)动词，后可接介词into,on，如：
The scientists are researching on/into the risk of wine. P26
