so that, such that是中考，高考的重点句型，对很多同学来说理解起来比较困难，本文将重点讲解这两个句型的区别，以便大家更好的理解这两个句型。
so that引导目的状语从句时，翻译成“以便，为了”，相当于in order to, 通常主句在前，从句在后，主句和从句之间没有逗号隔开；在从句中往往有can, could, may, might等情态动词，
They set out early so that they might arrive in time. (目的状语从句)
他们很早就出发了，以便能及时到达。
引导结果状语从句，翻译成“如此...以至于”，so是副词，用来修饰形容词或者副词，that后面是结果状语从句。常见的句型结构：
1.so 形容词/副词 that…
2.so 形容词 a/an 单数可数名词 that…
3.so many(多) / few(少，表示数量) 复数可数名词 that…
4.so much(多) /little(少,表示数量) 不可数名词 that…
例句：
I am so busy that I have no time to go home;
我太忙了，没有时间回家；
He ran so quickly that we all couldn't catch up with him.
他跑得很快，我们都追不上他。
Mike is so honest (a worker) that we all believe him;
迈克是如此诚实（一个工人），我们都相信他；
注意：a worker可以省略

5.特殊注意点：
that前的名词有表示数量的many,much,few,little等修饰时，只能用so，不能用such.；
若名词前的little解释为"小(的)"意思时，则仍用such,而不能用so；
There is so little milk left that I have to get more
剩下的牛奶太少了，我得再买些；( little milk: 少量牛奶)
They are such little children that you can`t take care of them by yourself;
他们太小了，你不能一个人照顾他们；( little children: 小孩子)

so..that, such...that的区别
so 从词性上来讲是副词，后面可修饰形容词/副词；
such 从词性上讲是形容词，后面可以修饰单数名词，复数名词，不可数名词；
