英语语法——“比较级”
比较级的概念① 表示“两个事物”的比较
② 表示“两个人”的比较
“比较级”的概念
比较级“变化规则”① 一般直接在词尾加“er”
⑴ tall —— taller
⑵ strong —— stronger
⑶ great —— greater
①一般直接在词尾加“er”
② 以不发音的e结尾的单音节词只加“r”
⑴ nice —— nicer
⑵ large —— larger
⑶ able —— abler
② 以不发音的e结尾的单音节词只加“r”
③ 以一个元音字母 一个辅音字母结尾，双写辅音字母，再加“er”

⑵ hot —— hotter

③ 以一个元音字母 一个辅音字母结尾，双写辅音字母再加“er”
④ 以辅音字母 y结尾的双音节词，改y为i，再加“er”

⑤ 以ly结尾的副词，在前面加“more”

(1) good/ well --- better
(2) bad/ ill/badly --- worse
(3) many/ much --- more
(4) many/much---more
(5) little ---less
(6)far---farther(表示距离)
(7)old---older(表示新旧)
(8)far---further(表示程度)
(9)old---elder(表示年龄)
⑧ 不规则变化
比较级的用法① 两者比较时用形容词比较级，其结构为“...比较级 than...”
例子:
⑴ Tom is taller than his brother.
⑵ Actions speak louder than words.
① 两者比较时用形容词比较级，其结构为“...比较级 than...”
② 在两者之间选择“哪一个更...”时，用“Which /Who is 比较级，...or ...?
例子:
⑴ Which sweater is cheaper, the red one or the yellow one?
⑵ Who is younger, Sally or Alice?
② 在两者之间选择“哪一个更...”时，用“Which /Who is 比较级，...or ...?
③ 表示“两者之间比较...的一个”时，用“the 比较级”
例子:
⑴ Lucy is the taller of the twins.
⑵ The red one is the better of twos.
③ 表示“两者之间比较...的一个”时，用“the 比较级”
④ 表示“越来越...”时，用“比较级 and 比较级”或“more and more 形容词原级”
例子:
⑴ The tree grows stronger and stronger.
⑵ We should make our country more and more beautiful.
④ 表示“越来越...”时，用“比较级 and 比较级”或“more and more 形容词原级”
⑤ 形容词比较级前用下列词修饰: much, a little, far, a bit, a few, a lot, even, still, rather等
例子:
(1) It's much colder today than yesterday
(2) This watch is even cheaper than that one
⑤ 形容词比较级前用下列词修饰: much, a little, far, a bit, a few, a lot, even, still, rather等
比较级的注意事项比较级的注意事项:① 比较的两者应该是互相对应的可比较的东西
★典型错误:
My hairis longer than you.(我的头发比你更长。)
比较的两者是我的头发、你(整个人)，没有可比性
应该改为:My hair is longer than yours.或 My hair is longer than your hair.
① 比较的两者应该是互相对应的可比较的东西
② 如果比较的两者是一样的时候，我们会用“as 形容词原级 as...”
例子:
(1) I'm as tall as you.
(2) My feet are as big as yours.
② 如果比较的两者是一样的时候，我们会用“as 形容词原级 as...”
③more and more 表示“越来越..”
the more....the more...表示“越...，越...”
例子：
(1) Our country is getting more and more powerful.
(2) The more we get together, the happier we will be.
③ more and more 表示“越来越..” the more....the more...表示“越...，越...”
