Peppa and George are having a picnic. 佩奇和乔治在外面野餐。

Narrator: Daddy Pig is using a bucket to catch the drips. 猪爸爸拿了个水桶去接滴下的雨水。
Mummy Pig: Well-done, Daddy Pig! 干得好，猪爸爸。
Daddy Pig: Easy as pie! 小菜一碟。
[雨水又滴到了猪爸爸的头上]
Daddy Pig: Er? what? 怎么？
Mummy Pig: Quick! Find something else to catch the water! 快点，再去找点别的东西来接水。
[佩奇赶紧拿了个水壶来接水]
Daddy Pig: Well-done, Peppa! 做得好，佩奇。
Peppa: Easy as pie! 小菜一碟。
[打雷了]
Peppa: Mummy! The thunder bangs are very loud! 妈妈，雷声真的好响好响。
Daddy Pig: It's okay, children; 没事的，孩子们。
don't be frightened. 你们不需要害怕。
Mummy Pig: Let's count between each flash and bang. 我们来数数闪电和雷声间的间隔时间。
Daddy Pig: The higher we can count, the further away the thunderstorm is. 间隔时间越久，说明暴风雨就离我们越远。
Mummy Pig: One... two... three... 一 二 三...
Daddy Pig: That's three. 已经到三了。
All: One... two... three... four... five... 一 二 三四 五...
Daddy Pig: That's five! 已经到五了。
The thunderstorm is going away! 暴风雨越来越远了。
[大家走到外面去看]
Mummy Pig: The thunderstorm is over! 看来暴风雨结束了。
All: Hurray! 好耶。
Narrator: The thunderstorm has filled the garden with muddy puddles! 暴风雨过后花园里布满了泥坑。
Peppa loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles. 佩奇最喜欢在泥坑里跳来跳去。
Everyone loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles. 大家都喜欢在泥坑里跳来跳去。

在游园会那集中，兔子小姐给小羊苏西画完了老虎的脸绘之后，也说了一句There you are. 好了。
5.Well done
暴风雨实在太大了，家里开始漏水了。猪爸爸马上找来了水桶来接水，猪妈妈说Well done, Daddy Pig. 猪爸爸，做得好。

这个用法我们已经见过很多次了，又简单又实用，在生活中夸奖孩子的时候完全可以用起来。跟Well done意思一样的另一个短语Good job. 我们也在小鼠波波中见过了。
6.Easy as pie
猪爸爸受到了猪妈妈的表扬，洋洋得意的说Easy as pie. 简单得很。

7. A long way off
外面要下雨了，猪爸爸却说the rain is still a long way off. 还要很长时间才会下雨呢。
A long way off是英语习语的表达方式，主要是指需要很长的时间，但也有时会用来表示距离很远，类似于It's far away.
8.It’s getting darker and darker
天空中布满了乌云，The sky is getting darker and darker. 天越来越黑了。
英语里面说天黑了，不是the sky is black，而是the sky is dark. 说乌云则是dark clouds. 而外国人们说皮肤的颜色，如果是棕色皮肤或者黑色皮肤，也会用dark skin.
9.Bring in
外面乌云密布，佩奇和乔治被猪妈妈叫回家了。猪妈妈问他们Did you bring all your toys in from the garden? 你们把花园里所有的玩具都拿回来了吗？
Bring我们都知道是拿来，带来的意思。但是这里要注意bring in是拿进来的意思。如果是bring to就是把什么东西带到哪里去或者带给谁的意思。

10.Soaking wet

Soak这个词本身的意思是浸湿浸透的意思，和wet可以说是同义词，只是湿的程度会更强一些。但是当这两个词组合在一起，soaking wet就是指因为淋雨或者其他恶劣天气导致的浑身湿透的状态，是一种比较夸张的表达用法。
让孩子理解wet是很容易的，那怎么理解soaking wet呢？洗衣服的时候让孩子来看衣服滴水的样子，去摸充满水的衣服，告诉孩子这就是soaking wet.
