wh-ever 和 no matter wh-的句型比较
初中高中教材中多处出现了no matter wh- 的用法，是高考的一个考点，对同学们来说也是个难点。在处理此知识点时很多同学对此知识点总是模棱两可，偶尔做出来也说不出理由。下面对此知识点进行剖析，同时点明做题技巧。
一、大家都知道：
no matter what=whatever
no matter who=whoever
no matter which=whichever
no matter whom=whomever
no matter where=wherever
no matter when=whenever
no matter how=however
以上说法不全对，因为，wh-ever可以引导名词性从句和让步状语从句，no matter wh-只能引导让步状语从句。所以，在引导让步状语从句是它们是可以互换的。
比如说，
No matter what weather it is, we will go to Beijing tomorrow.
=Whatever weather it is, we will go to Beijing tomorrow.
不管天气如何，我们明天都会去北京。
除此以外，在做选择题时，当no matter wh-遇到wh-ever，总是会败下阵。以下情形，就是只能用wh-ever，不能用no matter wh-
1.主语从句：Whoever comes here will receive a present. 到这的人都能收到一份礼物。
2.宾语从句：He does whatever his mother asks him to do. 妈妈要他做什么，他就做什么。
3.加强语气，含有“究竟”、“到底”之义：
Whatever do you mean? 你到底是什么意思?
因此，总结起来，只要能用no matter wh-，就一定能用wh-ever，反之却不成立。
wh-ever可以引导名词性从句和让步状语从句，no matter wh-只能引导让步状语从句。

所以，what, who, which, whom, where, how, when 这些疑问词可以引导状语，在下面情况下 wh-ever 和 no matter wh- 可以互换。
1.No matter what/whatever weather it is, we will have to go there.
不管天气如何，我们都得去那里。
2.No matter who/Whoever comes to the party, he will receive a present.
无论谁来参加聚会，他都会收到一份礼物。
3.No matter which/Whichever book you choose, you must read it carefully.
无论你选择哪本书，你都必须仔细阅读。
4.No matter whom/Whomever you meet, you may turn to her/him for help.

上面的句子中不管是wh-ever还是no matter wh-它们都是引导状语从句.这时两种可以互换。
二、引导主语从句和宾语从句时不可互换。
说起主语从句和宾语从句时，在做题时主要涉及到常见的3个疑问词：Whatever, Whoever, whichever.
例如，主语从句（一个句子充当主语）
1.Whatever you do may be an envy of your classmates.
无论你做什么，你的同学都会羡慕你。
2. Whoever is the last to leave classroom must turn off the lights.
无论谁最后一个离开教室必须关灯。
3. Whichever student will be of great help for you.
无论哪个学生对你都会有很大帮助。
在上面三个句子中Whatever Whoever Whichever都是引导主语从句。
宾语从句（一个句子充当宾语）
1 I will like whatever you gave me. 我会喜欢你给我的一切。
2 I had better pass the key to the door to whoever is in the classroom.
我最好把门钥匙交给教室里的任何一个人。
3.She will use whichever machine can work. 她将使用任何能工作的机器。
在上面三个句子中Whatever Whoever Whichever都是引导宾语从句。
Whatever, whoever, whichever在引导主语从句和宾语从句时，就不能和no matter what/no matter who/no matter which互换。
这部分是重点，难点，又是考点，最关键是学会分析句子成份。
三、注意两词的2点用法.
所谓的“两词”，主要是however/whatever 的用法.
e.g. 1. No matter how/However fast you run, I can catch up with you.
不管你跑多快，我都能赶上你。
2.No matter how/ However difficult it is,I think we can overcome it.
无论多么困难，我认为我们都能克服。
3. No matter what/whatever present will be a surprise to me.
无论什么礼物对我来说都是一个惊喜。
从第1例句可以看出However/No matter how 后紧跟形容词或副词.(如： fast/ difficult)
从第3例句可以看出，Whatever/No matter what 如有名词也是紧跟其后。(如：present)
四、解题技巧。
从第一、二项仔细观察，我们不难发现这一规律，只要能互换的都是2个句子，<一个主句、一个分句>，不能互换的只有一个句子。
再仔细观察，只要能用no matter wh- 的，wh-ever 绝对能用，反之则不能。也就是说如果选项中如果同时出现whatever, no matter what, 你就可以很快选whatever. 但这只是判断，最好是真正地理解。
