当你坐飞机去旅游时，英语不是特别好的你是否最害怕去国外机场呢？今天一起来学习下关于机场的词汇与一些注意事项吧！

When you travel to another country,
当你去某个城市旅游时
it can be very stressful，
可能会感到压力大
because you have to travel through sometimes two or three different airports,
因为你有时要经过两三个不同的机场
and airports are very stressful places.
而机场是个让人感到有压力的地方
Every airport has two areas,
每个机场都有两个区域
arrivals and departures.
抵达区和起飞区
The arrivals level is always on the first floor and the departures level is always on the second floor.
抵达层总是在一楼 起飞层总是在二楼
Now airports are full of escalators and elevators.
现在机场到处都是自动扶梯和电梯
An escalator is a moving stairway,
自动扶梯是移动的楼梯
and an elevator is a big box that you go up and down in.
电梯就像是一个大盒子 你可以在里面上下移动
In Canada and the United States, we call, we call them elevators.
在加拿大和美国 我们会用elevator这个单词来表示电梯
But in the UK, they call them lifts.
但是在英国 会用lift这个单词表示电梯
So you need to take a lift from the arrivals level to the departures level.
所以你需要从到达层乘电梯到离开层
Inside the elevator, there will be a button that says arrivals or departures.
在电梯里 会有一个显示到达层或离开层的按钮
Okay, so when you arrive at an airport,

You walk off the plane, and you walk through to the bridge,

So this is a bridge.

And when you get into the airport, you have two options.

If you're at your final destination, then you need to go through customs.
如果你到了目的地 你就需要通过海关
But if you're not at your final destination, then you need to to catch a connecting flight.
但是如果你还没到达最终目的地 那么你就需要去赶转机的航班
Okay, so you need to look for a sign that says connections or connecting flights.
那么你就需要找表示"转机"的标志
For example, if you're flying from Frankfurt Germany to Karachi Pakistan,
比如 你要从德国法兰克福飞往巴基斯坦卡拉奇
you might connect through Istanbul Turkey.
你可以在土耳其伊斯坦布尔转机
So when you land in Istanbul, you don't need to go through customs,
所以当你在伊斯坦布尔降落时 你不需要通过海关
you need to look for the sign that says connections,
你需要寻找转机的标志
and then you go and you find your next flight.
然后找到下一班你要搭的飞机
