第二、either 用于否定句表示全部否定。例如:I don't like either of the books. 这两本书我都不喜欢。
第三、either 也可作副词，意思为“也”，用于否定句句末。例如:(1) You are not a worker. I ’m not either. 你不是一位工人，我也不是一位工人。(2) You cannot sing. I cannot either. 你不会唱歌，我也不会。
第四、二者不同点。neither 表示否定含义，其反义词是both“ 两者都”，常构成“neither …nor …”句型，意思为“既不……也不……”；either 表示“两者中的任何一个”，表示肯定意义，可以构成“either …or ”句型，意思是“或者……或者……”。知识纵深：这两个句型谓语动词要遵循就近原则。例如:(1)Neither you nor I like dancing. 你不喜欢跳舞，我也不喜欢跳舞。(2)Neither you nor LiMing is good at English. 你和李明都不擅长英语。(3)Either you or your sister must go with your mother. 或者你，或者你姐姐，必须跟你妈妈一起去。(4)Either you or he is wrong. 或者是你，或者是他错了。
