课时分析

本课时在学习使用How are you?句式询问别人的近况并用I’m fine来回答的基础上,学习另外一种回答的方式:I’m very well.并继续使用如何用Let’s...句式来向别人提议一起做某事。

教材的情景图中Sarah到Mike家里做客,并邀请Mike一起做木偶玩。展示了句式:How are you? Very well, thanks. Let’s make a puppet! Great! 学生在真实的情景中感受语言使用的环境和方法,为其将所学知识内化为自己的语言提供可能。

Let’s play是一个针对本课时的重点句式进行的链式问答活动。Wu Yifan先使用How are you向John问好。John回答之后问Chen Jie,Chen Jie应答之后再去问Mike,这样一个接一个地把问答衔接下去。学生在活动过程中,既可以练习到问答,也可以练习到答句,以帮助他们熟练地掌握本课的重点句式。

Step 1 Warm up

1. 播放歌曲Hello, hello, how are you。

Teacher: Let’s sing the song hello, hello, how are you together. Do the actions, please.

设计意图:以学习过的问好歌来热身,既复习了已知知识,活跃了气氛,又为本课时即将学习的内容做好了铺垫。

Step 2 Lead in

1.复习字母,乱序呈现字母A—I,学生快速读出字母。

Teacher: Let’s say the letters. I will show you some letters. Read them as quickly as you can.

2. 出示字母,让学生猜出字母组成的单词,引出句式:How are you?

Teacher: Look at these three letters. This is a word. What is it? Yes, it’s the word how. And these three letters are the word— you. What about these three letters? Yes, it’s are. Can you see a sentence with these words? Yes, how are you?

Teacher: Boys and girls, how are you? (和学生一起问答,复习如何回应how are you)

设计意图:先复习字母,让学生轻松复习上节课学习过的知识。再通过猜字母组成的单词,引出本课要重点练习的句式,让学生始终在轻松的学习状态下逐步接受所学习的内容。

Step 3 Presentation

1. 展示教材图片,讨论图片内容,然后播放对话录音,请学生带问题认真倾听。

Teacher: Look at the picture. Who’s this? Yes, she’s Sarah. Who’s this? Yes, he’s Mike. And what’s in Sarah’s hand? It’s box. It’s a box of puppet. Say with me, please, puppet. (展示木偶图片,让学生理解其含义)Look, this is a puppet. What do Sarah and Mike want to do? Let’s listen to the dialogue and find.

Teacher: Now, try to answer my question, please. What do Sarah and Mike want to do? Yes, they want to make a puppet. Sarah asks: how are you. What does Mike say? Yes, he says Very well, thanks. That means I’m very good.

2. 再次播放录音,学生跟读。

Teacher: Listen to the tape again. This time please say with it.

设计意图:通过观察图片,获取与课文相关的信息,讲解新出现的单词。让学生带着问题去听课文内容,培养学生带着问题认真倾听的习惯和能力。检查问题的答案,确保学生听懂了对话的内容。跟读可以保证学生接触原汁原味的语言材料,保证他们语言输入的准确及正确。

Step 4 Practice

1. 练习读对话内容。学生以自己喜欢的方式练习读课文。

Teacher: Read the text freely. You can read it in pairs or in groups.

2. 分角色读课文。先男女生分角色,再请三个学生分角色表演读。

Teacher: Let’s read the dialogue in roles. Boys are Mike. Girls are Sarah. Let’s read. This time, girls are Mike. Boys are Sarah. Let’s read it again.

Teacher: Now who wants to be Mike? Who wants to play Sarah? Let’s find the best group.

设计意图:先给学生充足的时间去练习读,在读的过程中,教师要随时给予指导和帮助,保证学生能够顺畅地朗读对话,并能做到发音准确。再通过两种形式的分角色读课文,让学生熟悉对话内容及结构,为使用这些句式进行自主交流提供可能。

3. 展示一个头饰,来饰演这个人物,与学生进行对话。

Teacher:Hi, XXX. I’m Sarah. How are you?

Student: I’m fine. Thank you. How are you?

Teacher: Very well, thanks.

Teacher:Please ask and answer like this. You can practice in pairs first. Then show your dialogue.

设计意图:先与一个学生进行对话交流,使他们可以顺利地将课文对话迁移到这个练习中来。再请学生自由结组来进行对话表演。进一步使其熟悉本课的重点句式。

4. 使用头饰、手偶或人物图片进行对话练习。完成教材27页Let’s play的活动。

Teacher: Let’s play a game. Look, I have some name cards. Read the names please. Choose one and make a dialogue with it. (教师先抽取一条,给学生做一个示范)I choose this.

Teacher:(请一个学生选择另一个名字,并展示给学生看)Hello (此处说出学生选择的名字)I’m ... (说出自己选择的名字)。

Student: Hello, XXX. How are you?

Teacher : Very well, thank you. How are you?

Step 5 Summary

1. 呈现自编韵句,再现本课重要内容, 学生认真看、听。

2. 再次呈现韵句,学生逐句学习。

3. 齐说韵句,结束课程。

设计意图:使用韵句来总结,通过有节奏地说唱来再现本课重点知识,在欢快的氛围中结束课程,加深学生的印象。
