A fully functional social security system has been largely established in China
目前，我国以社会保险为主体，包括社会救助、社会福利、社会优抚等制度在内，功能完备的社会保障体系基本建成。
As it stands, a fully functional social security system primarily constituted by social insurance and supplemented by social assistance, social welfare, and benefits for entitled groups has been largely established in China.
基本医疗保险覆盖13.6亿人，基本养老保险覆盖近10亿人，是世界上规模最大的社会保障体系。
This is the world’s largest social security system, with over 1.36 billion people covered by basic medical insurance and nearly 1 billion people covered by basic old-age insurance.
这为人民创造美好生活奠定了坚实基础，为打赢脱贫攻坚战提供了坚强支撑，为如期全面建成小康社会、实现第一个百年奋斗目标提供了有利条件
