National song 可以指能激起爱国情怀的歌曲，比如我们常说的红歌《歌唱祖国》《东方红》这样的。

Volunteers：志愿军 March：行进，行军

最常用的词 motherland：祖国，有更浓烈的感情色彩
Homeland : 祖国，国土。比较中性。也会用于专有名词，比如美国国土安全部叫The Department of Homeland Security。还有美剧Homeland.

国旗的英文很简单就是 : the national flag 或者: The flag of China
但五星红旗的英文很容易错：
可不是：five-star red flag
five-star = 五星级的
a five-star hotel = 五星级宾馆
the Five-starred Red Flag
用五个星星装饰的红旗
starred：用星装饰的

中国的国旗是五星红旗。
答案：flag-escort
flag：旗帜 escort / eskɔːrt/ 护送人
如果用protector就好像受到暴力袭击，需要保护一样，根据护旗手的职责，用escort更加符合。
