今天学校开运动会，大家都来到了运动场上。首先是赛跑，羚羊老师当裁判，她要发号施令。哨声响起大家都冲了出去， 但是小羊苏茜和佩奇还在起跑线上讨论谁会跑得最快。小朋友们，你们也来猜猜看，谁会跑得最快呢？
Today is school sports day.
今天学校开运动会。
Peppa and her friends are all here.
佩奇和她的朋友们都来到了运动场上。
The first event is running.
第一个项目是赛跑。
The children have to run as fast as they can.
小朋友们要比比谁跑得快。
“Ready…Steady…Go!" says Madame Gazelle.
“预备——跑！”羚羊老师说。
Suzy and Peppa are chatting about who can run the fastest.
小羊苏茜和佩奇在讨论谁会跑得最快。
Rebecca Rabbit is in the lead.
小兔瑞贝卡一路领先。
Peppa and Suzy are right at the back.
佩奇和苏茜落在最后面。
Rebecca Rabbit wins the race.
瑞贝卡赢得了比赛。
“Hooray," everyone cheers.
“好棒！”大家欢呼起来。
Peppa and Suzy are last.
佩奇和苏茜最后到达终点。
“It’s not the winning that matters," Daddy Pig reminds them. “But the taking part."
“获胜不是最重要的。”猪爸爸提醒她们，“最重要的是参与比赛。”
“The next event is the long jump, " says Madame Gazelle.
“下一个项目是跳远。”羚羊老师说。
George and Richard Rabbit have to run and then jump as far as they can.
乔治和小兔理查德参加了这项比赛，他们要助跑，然后尽可能往远处跳。
Whoever jumps the furthest is the winner.
谁跳得远谁就获胜。
“Ready…Steady…Go!"
“预备——开始！”
Oh dear. Richard Rabbit has jumped further than George.
哦，天哪！小兔理查德比乔治跳得远。
“Hooray!” shout all his friends.
“好棒！”理查德的朋友们欢呼起来。
George is not happy.
乔治不太开心。
“Remember George, " says Peppa. "
“记住哦，乔治，”佩奇说。
It's not the winning that matters but the taking part."
“最重要的是参与比赛，而不是获胜。”
The next race is the relay.
下一个项目是接力赛跑。
Daddy Pig is in the lead.
猪爸爸跑在最前面。
He hands the baton to Peppa.
他把接力棒交给佩奇。
“Thank you Daddy, you did very well.
“谢谢爸爸，你跑得可真快。
Now it's my turn to…" begins Peppa.
现在看我的了……”佩奇说。
“Stop talking and run!" snorts Daddy Pig.
“别说话了，快跑呀！”猪爸爸说。
Emily Elephant is the winner!
小象艾米丽是冠军。
Everyone cheers. “Hooray!"
大家欢呼起来：“好棒！”
Peppa comes last.
佩奇最后一个到达终点。
She’s not feeling happy.
她有点不太高兴。
It is the last event of the day, the tug of war.
拔河是运动会的最后一个项目。
Boys against girls.
男孩子一组，女孩子一组。
The girls will win!" snorts Peppa.
“女孩们会赢。”佩奇说。
“Woof! No, they won’t!" says Danny.
“汪汪，女孩们赢不了！”丹尼说。
Everyone is pulling so hard, the rope breaks!
每一个人都使劲儿拔，结果绳子断了！
“The result is a draw! Both teams win!" says Madame Gazelle.
“结果是平局！两个队都是胜利者！”羚羊老师说。
Everybody cheers.
大家一起欢呼起来。
"Hooray!" “好棒！”
“I love school sports day, " snorts Peppa.
“我喜欢学校的运动会。”佩奇说。
"Especially when I win a prize."
“尤其是当我也得了奖的时候。”
