Appreciation of abstract paintings by Spanish painter Juan Miro
Joan Miro (20 April 1893 -- 25 December 1983) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, ceramicist, printmaker, and representative of Surrealism.
Miro was born in Barcelona, Spain, in 1893, the son of a goldsmith and jeweler. Miro was very fond of the natural scenery since childhood. Drawing seems to be a routine for Milo, who is quiet and sensitive. Juan Miro was 14 years old (1970) to study at the St. Luke School of Art in Barcelona, early exposure to many avant-garde artists, such as Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Rousseau and other works, but also tried the Fauvism, Cubism, Dada style of expression. It gradually formed its own art style of surrealism. Of course, this success is also due to the beautiful natural environment of his hometown and the deep cultural and artistic tradition, especially influenced by the two-dimensional folk art of Spain Catalonia and the frescoes of Romanesque churches.
Miro's art is free and lyrical. Often there were no definite forms in his paintings, only lines, embryos, random shapes like those of a child painted in silence. The colors are very simple, red, yellow, green, blue, black and white, painted flat on the picture as a single color block. They look free, light and unfettered. But it would be a mistake to think they were improvised in a casual way. They are the result of a combination of the artist's free imagination and deliberate deliberation.
