about 的意思基本都跟“关联”有关，但在句中基本不翻译为“关联、关于”
围绕一个中心，与四周人或物产生的关联，可以是某件事情、事物上的关联，也可以是某种思想、品质、情绪上的关联。
与什么人，什么事有关（联）There has been a lot of anger about [=concerning] the decision.
许多人对这个决定感到愤慨。（愤慨什么？愤慨与决定之间的关联）
We did something about the problems.
我们针对这些问题采取了一些措施。（对什么采取措施？措施与问题之间的关联）
What are you so pleased about?
什么事让你这么高兴？（高兴什么？什么事与你高兴有关）
I forgot all about it.
我完全把它忘记了。(忘了什么？什么东西与你忘记有关)
There's a question about [=as to] how the problem should be fixed.
这个问题如何解决也还是个疑问。（疑问什么？疑问与如何解决问题之间的关联）
She told me all about her vacation.
她向我讲述了度假的所有情况。（告诉我什么？）

总结通过以上的例子，可以对 about 有一个很好的体会，就是那种“关联着的，挨着的，周围的、遍布的、很近的”感觉。
英语里，像 about 这样的介词在句中出现的频率非常高。
不要试图去中文里找“一一对应”的中文翻译，因为你会发现，很难找到。
在上面那么多例子里，你很少能找到“关于”这种对应的翻译。
有的意思在中文说话习惯里，根本就没有。比如：I'm worried about her. 我担心她。
