Typically, men would wear a business suit, consists of a formal jacket that’s usually black, and a pair of trousers in the same color. They’d also wear a button-up dress shirt inside with a tie in a bright color. If they want to show some class, they could also wear a watch around their left wrist. All of the clothes need to be carefully ironed ahead of time to ensure that they are smooth and neat. For women, they’d also wear a business suit in a formal setting, although their design is probably a little different from men’s suit. Or in a dinner setting, they might wear a classy dress with some high-heeled shoes. In China, though, men sometimes would still wear a Chinese tunic suit, but that’s more common among the older generations as the Chinese tunic suit has gone out of style in the modern era.
