The farmer and the snake
In a very cold winter evening, a farmer is on his way back home. Suddenly, he sees something on the road. He looks carefully and finds that it is a frozen snake. The farmer wants to save its life. So he picks up the snake and put it in his clothes. After a while, the snake comes back to life. It bites the farmer and runs away. The farmer knows he is going to die. He regrets and says: “ I should not save this merciless snake!”
The story tells us : we should not have mercy on merciless people or animals.
