本课学习的是过去完成时的用法。
（一）构成方式
had done。其中，had为助动词，done为动词的过去分词。
（二）基本用法
表示过去发生的事情对过去造成的影响或结果，即过去的过去，如：
She had left when he came back home.

过去完成时的常见标志性词语包括：
1、before 过去时间，如：before yesterday。
2、时段 before，如：ten weeks before。
3、when引导的表过去的时间状语从句，如：
When she arrived, the train had left the station.
4、before或after引导的表过去的时间状语从句，如：
Before I went to the park, I had done my homework.
After I had done my homework, I went to the park.
（五）句型转换
因为had为助动词，所以在句型转换时，否定句只需在它们后面加上not，疑问句只需把它们提到句子主语前面。如：
She had finished the job before last Friday.
否定句：She had not finished the job before last Friday.
一般疑问句：Had she finished the job before last Friday?
划线部分提问：What had she finished before last Friday?
