今天分享的这本绘本《The very busy spider》中的主人公小蜘蛛做事情非常专注和坚持，是一本极具教育意义的绘本，值得每一个小朋友学习。
书中共出现了12种动物，每一种动物的配音都有其独有的特征，非常方便记忆。
故事讲述的是蜘蛛在农庄的栅栏上织网，不断地有动物跑过来邀约她去做别的事。马儿问她要不要一起去兜风，牛过来问她要不要吃草，绵羊邀她去跑步，鸭子叫她去游泳……
而小蜘蛛却没有回答他们，只是一声不吭地继续织着自己的网。
最后，她终于完成了一张令人惊叹的网，而她的网也为她捕捉到了食物。

Early one morning the wind blew a spider across the field.
有一天早晨，一阵风把一只蜘蛛吹过了田野。
A thin, silky thread trailed from her body.
一根细细的丝线从她的身体里拖了出来。
The spider landed on a fence post near a farm yard…
蜘蛛着陆在一个农庄旁的栅栏桩上…
and began to spin a web with her silky thread.
然后她开始用她的丝线织起了网。
"Neigh! Neigh!" said the horse. "Want to go for a ride?"
“㖏！㖏！”马儿问她：“想去兜风吗？”
The spider didn't answer. She was very busy spinning her web.
蜘蛛没有回答，她正忙着织她的网。
"Moo! Moo!" said the cow. "Want to eat some grass?"
“哞！哞！”牛问她：“想吃草吗？”
The spider didn't answer. She was very busy spinning her web.

"Baa! Baa!" bleated the sheep. "Want to run in the meadow?"
“咩！咩！”绵羊叫道：“想去草地上跑步吗？”

"Maa! Maa!" said the goat. "Want to jump on the rocks?"
“嘛！嘛！”山羊问：“想去岩石上跳跃吗？”

"Oink! Oink!" grunted the pig. "Want to roll in the mud?"
“哼！哼！”猪问她：“想去泥地里打滚吗？”

"Woof! Woof!" barked the dog. "Want to chase a cat?"
“汪！汪！”狗问她：“要不要去追猫咪玩？”

"Meow! Meow!" cried the cat. "Want to take a nap?"
“喵！喵！”猫走过来问：“要不要打个盹？”
The spider didn't answer. She was very busy spinning her web.
蜘蛛没有回答，她正忙着织她的网。
"Quack! Quack!" called the duck. "Want to go for a swim?"
“嘎！嘎！”鸭子走来问：“想不想去游泳呢？”
The spider didn't answer. She had now finished her web.
蜘蛛没有回答，她的网现在完成了。
"Cock-a-doodle do!" crowed the rooster. "Want to catch a pesty fly?"
“喔喔喔！”公鸡问：“要不要去抓只苍蝇？”
And the spider caught the fly in her web… just like that!
而蜘蛛就在她的网里抓住了苍蝇，就这样轻易！
"Whoo? Whoo?" asked the owl. "Who built this beautiful web?"
“呜？呜？”猫头鹰问：“是谁编织了这么漂亮的一张网啊？”
The spider didn't answer. She had fallen asleep.
蜘蛛没有回答，她已经睡熟了。
It had been a very, very busy day.
这真是好忙好忙的一天啊。
