1 A Brief Account of the Historical Situation（历史状况简介）
(1) New literary genres emerged, such as novels, travel notes, memoirs, life stories, ghost stories, manuals, and guidebooks. The reading public was diverted from the strict classics.
文学新体裁出现，如小说、游记、回忆录、生平事迹、鬼故事、说明书、手册、指南等大量出版发行。阅读大众从严格的经典作家那里转移了注意力。
