Though you were in fact messing about with those hangers, leaving them spilled out all over the floor, such was the delightful jumble that I was all set to marvel at the spectacle. "They are crocodiles," you said, wading across the imaginary stream on tiptoes to steer clear of those metaphorical fierce animals. It was then that I came to realize why the floor had been cluttered up with hangers.
