The title is A fascinating book. 故事的题目叫一本迷人的书。
fascinating means extremely interesting. 有极大吸引力的，迷人的
Page 1. The mom asks, “It is almost dinner time. Where is our son?”
almost, means very nearly。 几乎，差不多的意思。
这一页说，妈妈问，现在差不多是晚餐时间了，我们的儿子哪去了？
Page 2. The dad walks into the son’s room and he finds that the son is reading a book in fascination.
爸爸走进儿子的房间，然后发现儿子正在读一本书。怎么样地读呢？In fascination.着迷地。儿子正在入迷地读着一本书。
Page 3. “Hurry up and have your dinner,” after the dad said this, he also takes a peek at the book.
赶快去吃晚饭，爸爸说完这句话，也偷看了一眼那本书。这里的peek一词，用得非常好，是偷偷瞄了一眼的意思。
Page 4. The son and the mom are sitting at the dinner table and waiting for the dad to have dinner.
儿子和妈妈都坐在餐桌前等着这爸爸来吃饭。
Page 5. “Go and see what your dad is doing!” says the mom.
去看看你爸爸在做什么呢？妈妈说。看妈妈的动作，似乎有些生气了。
你们猜，爸爸在做什么？
Page 6. The dad is lying on the floor and is reading that book with great interest.
爸爸正躺在地板上，正津津有味地读着那本书呢！
with great interest和刚才那个in fascination的意思是一样的，都表示有极大兴趣地，入迷地，但它们在表达上却不同，所以我们能看出作者在用词上是非常很讲究的。
